Meadow Pipit

A small brown bird easily confused with the skylark. Meadow pipits have a high pseet pseet pseet call and in the breeding season perform a fluttering 'parachute' display flight while singing. This one was perched on the fence around Jill's Pond. (Stephen Watson 30/9/2015)
