Friends of Bottesford Beck from the beginning.

Since the establishment of ‘Friends of Bottesford Beck’ (FOBB) in 2011, our group of volunteers, with the help of other agencies, have been successful in transforming a little used muddy path and unpleasant waterway into a popular recreational path/bridleway for walkers, cyclists and horse/riders etc. Our efforts to improve the environment along the length of the beck have resulted in an increase in the number and variety of birds and animals establishing their presence along the length of the beck.

Here are some of the people who were there from the begining and laid the groundwork for Friends of Bottesford Beck as we know it today. Also pictured are members receiving the following awards; Living Waters Award 2014 and the Campaign to Protect Rural England-Environment Award.
