Bus Services
The bus service through the Chignals operates on four days of the week – Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It arrives at Langleys Corner around 10.00 am, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays goes on through Chignal St. James.
On Fridays and Saturdays, the bus passes through Chignal Smealey, stopping at The Post Box by St Nicholas (10.00 am) and the Pig & Whistle (10.05 am). All journeys arrive at Railway Street, Chelmsford (the bus stop near the railway station) at around 10.15 a.m.
All return journeys commence from Railway Street at 1 p.m, arriving at Chignal St James on Tuesdays and Thursdays around 1.15 pm and on Fridays and Saturdays in Chignal Smealey around 1.15pm.
