A successful W.I. Coffee Morning was held on Saturday 2nd August in the Village Hall instead of St. Marys Cottage as the weather forecast was not good! Thanks to all the team the morning was most enjoyable.
The next meeting will be on Thursday 4th September, a talk by Nicolette Chambers on "My Year as Mayor". Competition - A Souvenir of Chelmsford.

Our June Garden Meeting was held at Lees Farm, kind permission of Mr. & Mrs. Merriday, and was thoroughly enjoyed by all the members and visitors.
Some of our members went for a walk and tea at Hylands Park, a very pleasant afternoon..
In June, Janet Campen gave us a talk on her Trip to the Ukraine.
A boat trip from Paper Mill Lock (above) was really successful, cool on a very hot afternoon, followed by very welcome tea and cake.
