World Wildlife Fund Living Planet Centre

I and a group of society members together with guest's enjoyed a visit to the "WWF Living Planet Centre" at Woking, Surrey on Tuesday 20th March 2018. Our guide "Heather" gave us and in depth detail of how the centre came about and was built using environmentally friendly materials and ideas. The centre originally located in Godalming, Surrey, had become outdated and rather than spend money on refurbishment it was decided with help of generous donations to build a new centre. Woking was chosen because of its easy access to transport systems and the fact it was not too far for existing staff to travel too.Further information can be had from there website.
