Chairmans CNHS update Mar 2022
Our AGM is on Thursday 3rd March but will once again come to you via Zoom so we are hoping that you will join us.

At least the spring flowers are now out although having to cope with the fierce winds. Butterflies and Bees have been seen and some bird song as they crank up for their big season.
Thank you to all those who submitted entries for the Photographic competition, fewer than usual but the same high standard. These will be shown after the AGM.
We held a committee meeting recently and decided that we would postpone the zoom meetings until the autumn when we can reassess the situation. We have however arranged some outings for the spring and summer which we hope you will attend.
March - A chance to visit Pat and Mary’s house to view his latest taxidermy acquisitions. This is Sunday 27th March in the afternoon and very limited numbers so please let Joan know if you wish to be included. joanmorrad@talktalk.net 01276 22574
April - Tice’s Meadow for bird watching.
May - Weather permitting Bernard will lead an evening walk to see Bats.
June 2nd or 3rd - Jubilee Celebrations in Joan and Bernard’s garden.
June - Looking for Butterflies, especially the reintroduced Marsh Fritillary, at Minley.
July - Irene will show us around Crab Wood for flowers.
July 30th - Garden get-together Mike and Jenny’s garden.
August - Garden Get Together in Joan and Bernard’s garden on Sunday 28th August.
September - Walking with Sue Outram in their locality with tea and cake afterwards at their house.
October - Fungus Foray locally.
Dates for all these activities will be announced in good time.
There is much tree planting going on around the country and if any of you would like to plant a few trees, with the Surrey Heath Tree Wardens, they have Hedge Planting Project at Frimley Green Rec’ GU16 6LB on Wednesday 30th March 10:00am. Please let Bernard know if you would like to assist
