The project is designed specifically for the elderly or less able who are finding their plots difficult to maintain, giving them the opportunity to continue with their hobby, get some exercise and enjoy the companionship of other plot holders.
The council have given us permission to use plot 35 and we have cleared it and intend to construct several raised beds and suitable paths throughout as well as storage and seating.
We’re also really pleased that the Committee have been successful in applying for a grant for this project.
