BRIAR ROAD ALLOTMENT HOLDER’S ASSOCIATION

Dear Plot Holders,

Spring finally feels like it’s on its way!

Some updates:

WATER SWITCH ON: The water will be switched on this weekend. Please make sure taps are switched off and hoses are disconnected. If you find any broken or dripping taps, please let us know.

COMPOST / MULCH: Available from Bin 4 of the communal compost bins. It might need a bit of a sieve, but please feel free to help yourselves.

SEEDS: We still have plenty of seeds available after our recent seed event. Please go and help yourselves and see if there’s anything that takes your fancy….

PLANT SALE / SPRING FAIR – SUNDAY 19th MAY: The event will include a plant and tool sale as well as refreshments. We’ll be in touch again nearer the time, but will be grateful for any spare plants, produce or good condition tools you might have. We’d also be very grateful for any offers help on the day - either with set up, or support early on when it’s likely to be busy.

WOODY WASTE COLLECTION: The council have confirmed that there will be another woody waste collection after Easter, so please hang on to anything you may have until we have a confirmed date and collection point. We’ll let everyone know as soon as possible.

ANDOVER ROAD PADLOCK: The padlock on the Andover Road gate has been replaced again recently as there have been reports of people having trouble. The council are looking at trialling a combination lock instead of a padlock. It will take some time to implement but we hope to give everyone plenty of notice.

Thanks as always for your continued support

Kind Regards

BRAHA Committee
