Lifetime’s Care4me Volunteering Opportunity of the Week

Each week Lifetimes chooses one of our current volunteering opportunities listed on our community directory and volunteer brokerage platform, Care4me, as our ‘Volunteering Opportunity of the Week’.

This week the Volunteering Opportunity is for The Mindfulness Foundation. The Mindfulness Foundation is a social enterprise, advocating and campaigning to give schoolchildren access to the benefits of mindfulness practice. They are looking for volunteers to Help Promote the rights of Children to Mindfulness in Schools.

Campaigning and volunteer support can make a positive difference and promote the rights of children to Mindfulness in Schools. Enquire and take action on the issues they are currently campaigning on.

To enquire or to apply for this position please click here.

If you would like one of your opportunities to be ‘Volunteering Opportunity of the Week’ then please get in touch at assistant@life-times.org.uk and we can guide you through the process of setting up your Care4me profile.

Lifetimes' volunteer brokerage platform, part of our community directory, care4me.org.uk

Using the volunteering button on the site, all organisations registered with Care4Me can  promote their volunteering opportunities. Any individual with an interest in volunteering can also sign up on the site, with a brief profile of their skills they wish to share and areas of work they are interested in.

The brokerage platform is entirely self-funded by Lifetimes, who work to empower and support the voluntary sector in Wandsworth, Richmond, Kingston and the surrounding boroughs. This development was made to assist organisations who will experience difficulties gaining volunteers as the Local Authority no longer supports volunteer brokerage via funding of the service.

To list your organisation’s volunteering opportunities, simply register your organisation or log in at  care4me.org.uk to register your opportunity.

If you are an individual looking to volunteer, you can search our volunteering opportunities or register to create your profile on the volunteer bank here

If you have any questions about using the service, please do not hesitate to contact us at 0208 875 2849 or assistant@life-times.org.uk
