Sunday 3rd March 10.30 am MOUNT FARM Milton Keynes
From Groveway (H9) turn right at Simpson roundabout into Melbrook St and Bond Ave. Meet in the Inn on the Lake car park
MK1 1PA. Walking the Mount Farm lakes trail ‘where countryside meets industry’ to Ashland lakes on the redway returning through Mount Farm lakes. Pub welcoming and has toilets. Dogs on leads. 3 miles

Thursday 7th March 10.30 am BROWNS WOOD & OLD FARM PARK Milton Keynes
Meet at Walnut Tree Playing Field on Bourton Low GR896860 (MK7 7DE). Going east on Bletcham Way (H10) take first turn on left just past Walton Park roundabout. Walking on bridleways and hard paths following Caldecotte Brook through Browns Wood to city boundary and railway. Then north to Walton End, Fyfield Barrow past Walton High School and sports ground back to start. Pavilion café open. 3 miles

Saturday 9th March 10.30 am STONY STRATFORD
Meet at the Calverton Road car park GR787395 (MK11 1YT) on the left just before you enter Stony Stratford coming from the Winslow direction. Walking around Stony Stratford and beside river entirely on hard paths. 4 miles

Saturday 16th March 10.30 am FRINGFORD
Right turn off A4421 Bicester road south of Finmere. Park by green in village centre (GR603287). Exploring village and local paths. Passing church then southwest to cross stream at Fringford Bridge. Then northeast past mediaeval village site, Willaston Farm and Warins Barn and through Poplar Spinney to return to village. Hard tracks, pasture and arable headlands. Few stiles. Pub in village.

Saturday 23rd March 10.30 am TOTTERNHOE
From A505 Leighton Buzzard bypass turn right for Totternhoe. After Castle Hill Farm turn left opposite car park sign before bus stop, up hill to Totternhoe Knolls parking GR986217 (LU6 1QG) /cones/sock/comic. Visiting motte and bailey castle remains and Maiden Bower hillfort. Outstanding views and lots of wildlife. Mainly good paths, no stiles. 4.5 miles

Saturday 30th March 10.30 am SWANBOURNE to Christmas Gorse
Meet at Betsey Wynne pub GR805274 (MK17 0SH). Take footpath to Nearton End then on road to join Swans Way eventually crossing A413 to Christmas Gorse and Green End; recross A413 at Bennetts Hill Farm to return to Swanbourne. Mainly grassy tracks, some short road sections and arable and pasture. 4.5 miles

Saturday 6th April 10.30 am BUTLERS CROSS
Meet and park in Chalkshire Road GR 843072 (HP17 0TS). Walking on good paths through a golf course and then steeply onto Coombe Hill. After a short stretch on the Ridgeway the path leads to Dunsmore and Buckmoor End through woodland. Back on the Ridgeway the return leg skirts Chequers and Beacon Hill, goes into Ellesborough and finally Butlers Cross. Approx. 6 miles

Saturday 13th April 10.00 am WOBURN, Lowe & Charle Woods
Early start. Park opposite church MK17 9PG. Meet on grassed area just outside entrance. Walking to cross road to Greensand Ridge Walk across Wayn Close with view of Woburn Abbey to arable headland and track to road. Crossing carefully to narrow pavement past Pinfield Pond House to road junction. Crossing carefully to field path and track to Jobs Farm past duck ponds and along narrow path with fine oak, cherry and conifer trees to enter Lowe’s Wood and meet MK Boundary Walk, following path to road and Shire Oak. Crossing carefully to circular walk path through beech woods to track by edge of golf course descending past Hundreds Farm, through trees to paths junctions. Then crossing fields to gates at horse paddocks and Woburn High St and so back to car park. Gently undulating landscape. No stiles. 5 miles

Saturday 20th April 10.30 am HEATH AND REACH
Meet; at The Heath Inn, Heath and Reach LU7 0AR and park in their car park with permission. Moderate circular walk mostly in Stockgrove and Rushmere parks but starting and finishing in the village of Heath and Reach. Some walking on a road (no footpath). No stiles. 4.5 miles

Saturday 27th April 10.30 am STOKE BRUERNE
Meet in church car park in village GR744498 (NN12 7SA). Turn off A508 to village over bridge and uphill, park on left. Walking paths towards Shutlanger then bridleways to Stoke Park and return to Stoke Bruerne with various pubs. Good views. No stiles. 3.5 miles

Sunday 5th May 10.30 am NEWPORT PAGNELL
Park in Queens Avenue car park meeting by EV charging points. GR874439 (MK16 8JS) (chair.garlic.changing). Circular walk north of the town through meadowland and fields and past farmyards in Great Ouse valley returning via Lathbury village. No stiles. 5.5 miles

Saturday 11th May 10.30 am GREAT LINFORD Milton Keynes
Meet in Linford Manor Park car park adjacent to Memorial Hall GR853424 (musically.probing.areas). From V8 Marlborough Street turn right at Redbridge roundabout into Monks Way (H3). Turn left at Great Linford roundabout into V9 Overstreet. Take 2nd right into Marsh Drive, past Great Linford Park and turn left opposite Memorial Hall sign. If you get to the traffic lights at the canal bridge you have gone too far. Exploring Great Linford and Linford Wood on hard paths; old, new and green Milton Keynes. Dogs on leads. 4 miles

Take the A507 to Ampthill turning left and left into west car park opposite football ground. GR023382 (MK45 2GU). Walking in Ampthill Park visiting Katherine’s Cross, Millbrook church and lime tree walk stopping at end for tea and cakes in the café. 4 miles
