The Waterside Cycling Action Group have been in consultation with Hampshire County Council following the council’s proposals for two new cycle routes from Totton to Calshot running through the Waterside.

Set up in 2020 the Waterside Cycling Action Group, want to make roads in the Waterside safer and more attractive for cycling so that people of all ages choose to cycle for everyday journeys.

The group have developed alternative routes to those proposed by the council, with local cyclists in mind, looking at creating the most direct routes and ensuring the safety of cyclists.
