Under 5's Party on Sunday 11th December 2022 at noon in the village hall
Regrettably we are not able to organise a pantomime trip for the 6-15 year olds this year, due to a lack of personnel on the committee. We are desperate for new committee members, particularly parents of young children. Just join for one event in the year, we just need a small organising team for each event.
The next AGM and committee meeting is in the Two Brewers on Tuesday 10th January at 8pm. Please show your support to avoid more event cancellations. Even if you don’t want to join the committee, perhaps you can help at a particular event?

Thornborough Bonfire & Fireworks Saturday 5th November 2022
After two years of no village bonfire and fireworks TSSC were delighted to put on a display for the village on 5th November this year. The village supported this event very well and a big crowd processed with the flaming torches from the Two Brewers to the new venue off High Street.
There was a brilliant display of fireworks and the bonfire consisted of recycled straw from old thatched roofs. The food and drinks were very popular - in fact sold out! The result of this was to add to the coffers of the club by several hundred pounds.
The funds raised by the club are used to fund other village events, the next one being the under-5s party on 11th December.

2023 36th Annual Thornborough-10 and Fun Run Cancelled
35th Thornborough-10 mile and 5-mile Fun Run on Monday 2nd May 2022. A great event. Thanks to all the runners and special thanks to all the marshalls, water stations and many other helpers to allow us to run this event after a two-year Covid break.
