Walk the Chalk 2026

What?
Walk the chalk as climate action. The 12 mile route will trace the beautiful Itchen navigation with its rare and beautiful chalk stream habitat.
Why?
The intention of the walk is to embody mindfulness, immersion in nature and as – peaceful climate action. It’s to bring us back to being in and with the natural world. To appreciate and witness our precious chalk streams, to be with our more than human kin and to be with each other as humans worried about our planet. The walk is to witness the beauty but also the degradation of the chalk stream.
When?
Saturday 3rd October, meeting at 10am at Swaythling station Southampton.
