Rothsay Ramblers was formed as a separate group in 1991, and has about 125 members. We are a sociable group whose primary aim is to enjoy walking in the countryside within a 20 mile radius of Bedford, including Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Following a review of where we are, the committee has taken the decision to remove the need to book places on walks. We hope this will provide a bit more flexibility. Of course, Coronavirus has not gone away so we all still need to be careful and we will continue to monitor the situation.

Where possible, walks include the opportunity to have refreshments, but some walks are offered without this. Details are on the calendar. If you login to this website and go to the calendar page, you will see all the walks that are currently planned and see those where refreshments are available.

The committee has also thought more about how best to ascertain support for walking on a different or additional day as discussed at the AGM, We will be sending a questionnaire to all members to get members' views.

Please do not join a walk if you have any symptoms that might be Covid. Please click here for more detailed advice on walk safety.

Please check the calendar for walks planned later in 2021.
