Oldbury-on-Severn Memorial Hall – Facilities Overview

The Memorial Hall offers a versatile, well‑equipped space suitable for community events, private functions, meetings, classes, and celebrations.

 

Main Hall

The Main Hall measures approximately 11m x 6m and can accommodate:

  • 80 people seated
  • 100 people standing

Features include:

  • Wrap‑around sound system
  • 3m projection screen with projector (supports Blu‑ray, Freeview HD, laptops and other devices)
  • Wooden floor ideal for dancing
  • Stage available on request
  • Window blinds and full blackout curtains
  • Modern lighting options: dimmable wall lights, coloured pelmet lighting, and central lighting for formal events

 

Small Committee Room

A comfortable meeting space seating up to 12 people.  Flatscreen TV which can be linked to pcs/laptops for presentations.  Whiteboard also available.
This room can also be used alongside the Main Hall for:

  • Food service
  • Breakout activities
  • Small group sessions

 

Kitchen

A fully equipped kitchen suitable for catering, including:

  • Electric double oven, grill, warming ovens and five‑ring hob
  • Industrial dishwasher
  • Microwave, hot water urn, kettles and toasters
  • Integral fridge
  • Ample crockery and cutlery

 

Licensed Bar

A fully licensed bar is available, including:

  • A selection of drinks 
  • High bar tables and chairs
  • TV

 

Toilets

  • Separate Ladies and Gents
  • Accessible gender‑neutral toilet with baby‑changing facilities

 

Tables & Chairs

A range of tables and chairs is available for use with your booking.

 

Licensing & Entertainment

The Hall is fully licensed for:

  • The sale of alcohol
  • Live and recorded music
  • Dancing
  • General entertainment activities

 

Audio‑Visual Systems

Audio and visual equipment is available for use.
Training is required before use and must be arranged at least 3 weeks prior to your booking.
