At the Parish Council held on 21st September 2023 the Parish Council agreed the Neighbourhood Plan Regulation 14 Pre-submission Draft. A consultation period of 8 weeks was agreed and will begin on 25th September to 20th November 2023
Chairman, Cllr Terri Sargent said, "The Parish Council Steering Group are delighted to deliver the pre-submission draft Neighbourhood Plan. The document will go out to consultation to residents, local businesses, schools, local Parish/Town Councils, statutory bodies and any interested parties willing to share their views and comments. It has been 5 years in the making but the end result is worth it. Thanks to Bluestone Planning consultants and the Steering Group for the tremendous effort on their part in getting the plan to this stage. There is still a fair way to go but we look forward to receiving many comments and as much feedback as possible. My thanks to past and present Parish Cllr's for being part of this major project with assistance from Basildon Borough Council and Essex County Council"
