Fun and fitness in the learner pool at Wildern Leisure Centre
Gain confidence in the water, build stamina and strength with the fun activities. As we are in the learner pool you do not need to be a swimmer.
Sundays, all year round (excluding Easter/Christmas/New Year holiday weekends)

£5 per session, first session free.
We advise wearing pool shoes for these sessions.
We have a variety of different activities over the weeks:
Week 1: team games (sink the float, hold the ball under water, team relays, woggle trains, bottle game, floats in and out of pool, domes and dishes with floats)
Week 2: ball games (catch, piggy in the middle, volleyball, waterpolo, noseball, headers)
Week 3: musical/games (sharks and fishes, stuck in the mud, musical woggles, musical statues, pass the ball, simon says, shopping trolleys)
Week 4: fitness session (circuit training or aqua aerobics)
Week 5: swimming/relaxing (practice swimming using floats and woggles, then move on to relaxing in the water, practice balance and coordination, underwater swimming, retrieving bricks, through hoops)
