As a statutory consultee the Parish Council (PC) is invited to comment on planning applications made to Uttlesford District Council (UDC). The PC’s comments will generally relate to:

1. Is the proposed development appropriate in Margaret Roding?
2. Will the development cause harm or nuisance to the environment, village life or neighbours?
3. Is the development in keeping with the character of the village including appearance, scale and street scene?
