Limited events are taking place at this time due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
A Christmas lights competition is being held in Leaden Roding again this year.
There will be two prizes of £25 for winners and numerous bottles of win for runners up.
Parish Councillors will tour the village during the week before Christmas to judge the event.
