Plastic bag charge doubles to 10p in all shops in England
The single-use plastic bag charge will rise from 5p to 10p in all shops in England from 21 May. The government said all stores, including local corner shops, will now have to apply the charge from that date. The 5p charge on plastic bags was introduced in England in 2015, and since then their use has fallen by over 95%.

December 2014 - almost 100
By December 2014 we had reached almost 100 entries, making this a really comprehensive and useful local resource. Please help us to reach 100 by telling us about new green enterprises, and also tell us about any changes needed to existing entries - enterprises come and go and evolve, and they don't always tell us!
