Keynsham Walkers are Welcome are a voluntary organisation, which have recently attained national status. We aim to make Keynsham a walker friendly town, where visitors and residents alike can enjoy organised walks around beautiful countryside surrounding the town, and partake of the benefits from the facilities the businesses have to offer.

 

 WALK PROGRAMME WINTER/SPRING  25/26

EVERYBODY WELCOME AND IT'S FREE - A DONATION ON THE WREATH WALK WOULD BE APPRECIATED

ALL WALKS START IN THE MEMORIAL PARK BEHIND THE LEISURE CENTRE BY THE WOODEN BRIDGE AT 10.00 UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED

 

SUNDAY 14th Dec - Our annual Wreath walk -  a short stroll around the Keynsham countryside collecting foliage - we do have permission to do this -  heading back to the Scout Hall for a demonstration on wreath making, and festive nibbles and mulled wine. A donation of £10 towards the cost of the room hire,oasis and refreshment etc, would be appreciated. Oasis provided. Don't forget your secateurs and bag!!!! - DAWN 

SUNDAY 18th Jan - A long walk around Stockwood vale and Queen Charlton - RICHARD

SUNDAY 8th Feb - A short walk around Somerdale - DAWN

SUNDAY 22nd Feb - Using the bus to Saltford, starting time and place to be arranged, we walk to Bath partly using the cycle path, and return by bus to Keynsham. Optional time available in Bath - DAVE V

SUNDAY 8th Mar - Again using the bus to Saltford, starting time and place to be arranged, we do a short walk to Swineford and the Cheese Shop - DEREK

SUNDAY 22nd Mar - Using Dial-a-Ride to Cotham car park, we walk back to Keynsham along the riverbank - DAVE V
