Hampton Common Friends

This row of shrubs jutting out onto the Common marks the line of the original Avenue that ran down to All Saints Church until the mid 1970's when it was taken up for the playing fields. Looking from the Church it was possible to see right across to Buckingham Road. The new stretch of the Avenue was laid in about 1980
