Friends of Pontefract Park meet every month in Aspire, the second Thursday of each month (except December) at 10am. Everyone is welcome to attend and learn what we're planning, and if you are inclined, to get involved. Volunteers are especially welcome at planting times in May and October, when the beds and boats need replanting. There's also spring bulb planting in the autumn. Litter picking is every Wednesday at 10am, weather permitting and we meet at our room down the side of Aspire at the Park. We also need help with the August event: Picnic in the Park - this year we are calling it "Peter's Picnic".
