Our Chair, Peter Appleby, will be attending the Heaton's and Reddish Area Committee to listen to the council's response to his pre submitted question:
"Considering the current shortfall in SMBC funding to complete Phase 2 of Planning Approval DC086979 would the Committee support a proposal by Friends of Peel Moat Open Space to fundraise to makeup the shortfall, on condition the current "developable" designation of the site is removed and replaced by a Local Green Space Designation?"
We will ensure that the committee's response is documented and posted on this website. Obviously the hope is that we will be given the go ahead for fundraising, so get your thinking hats on for ideas and suggestions of how we can go about it!
