Velvet shank?

This conspicuous fungus was growing on a dead gorse stem in the small field at Landport Bottom in January. It may be the Velvet Shank, Flammulina velutipesm aka Winter Fungus, wihc eppars in the winter monhts. Stephen Watson 24/1/2016
