Pineapple weed

Pineapple weed (Matricaria discoidea) aka wild chamomile. The flowers smell of pineapple if crushed. The plant was introduced in the 19th century and spread by seeds sticking to car tyres. It tends to grow in bare or disturbed ground. At Landport Bottom it can be found at the northwest corner of the pond field near the gate. (Zoe Watson 26/6/2015)
