Dropwort

Dropwort (Filipendula vulgaris) is a relative of Meadowsweet that grows in calcareous pastures. The leaves are fern-like and the crushed leaves have a scent of the oil of wintergreen (Methyl salicylate). (Zoe Watson 20/6/2015)
