Lewes Light event

A special illuminated installation inspired by Glow Worms and in conjunction with the LDC Community Rangers - an opportunity to learn about moths and bats, on the Downs at Landport Bottom. Suitable for all ages and families it will have themes that Include history, wildlife and the environment.
We have scheduled times that can be booked in advance for the first hour to enable families with younger children to attend without hanging around and have priority to see the installation. However the event does continue and anyone can attend at anytime as long as you arrive by 9.00pm.
There is no time limit and anyone can stay for as long or as short a time as they like.
We suggest that you bring a small torch and warm cloths and if it rains waterproofs or an umbrella - we will be going ahead watever the weather!
PLEASE NOTE! Whilst LewesLight will do everything we can to keep you safe we will be on the Downs in the dark and participants take part at their own risk. Children MUST be supervised at all times.
LewesLight is concerned about sustainable community and would like to encourage everyone visiting or taking part in the festival to to come on foot, cycle or public transport where at all possible.
