Our community herb planters are proving very popular with visitors to the courtyard at Simon's cafe.
When we were given the large wooden planters by Sutton Council,we decided to fill them with edible herbs that can be used in cooking, so please come and help yourself to the leaves.
Not only do the planters make an attractive addition to the courtyard, but It is also heartwarming to see parents and grandparents teaching children about the various herbs and to see people picking leaves for culinary use.
We look after the herbs and water them in dry weather.
