With a busy year ahead, we need help with a variety of tasks so do please take a look at the list below. The most important requirement is enthusiasm although of course, if you have any special skills to offer do let us know.
Secretary – our current Secretary is moving so we urgently need someone to send out Agendas and take Minutes at our occasional meetings and our AGM.
Vice Chair – supporting the Chair and leading meetings if they are unable to attend.
Treasurer – keeping our financial records (we are not a registered charity so we are not audited).
Communications and website manager – full training provided in managing simple e-Voice website and MailChimp for e-newsletters.
Ecology/conservation liaison officer – to attend local forums such as the Hounslow Parks Forum, Crane Valley Partnership, FORCE, Tidal Crane Association etc, network with stakeholders and keep FoNNR in touch with relevant developments, funding availability. An exciting role for someone looking to develop a nature conservation interest or career.
Education officer – to liaise with local schools and help us develop the education aspects of the Nature Reserve plans.
Fundraising officer – helping us to write bids for funding as it becomes available (some previous experience would be useful).
Event planner – helping organise every aspect of events at the Nature Reserve, from risk assessment to refreshments.
