Spicy Roasted Chickpea Snack

Ingredients

2 cans (400g) chickpeas, drained

4 tsp olive oil

1 tsp cumin and 1 tsp chili powder

1 ½ tsp brown sugar

1/4 tsp salt

1 lime - juiced

 

Cooking Steps

Step 1
Place the chickpeas on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake at 450 F for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Transfer chickpeas to a bowl.  Lightly whisk the olive oil, cumin, chilli powder, brown sugar, salt and lime juice in a bowl and stir into the chickpeas.  Mix well to coat all chickpeas.

Step 3

Enjoy hot, or bring to room temperature and store in an air-tight container for up to a week
