Ginger & Garlic Paste

Ingredients

125g root Ginger – peeled and chopped
125g Garlic – peeled
Mild vinegar, a splash of oil or ¼ tsp turmeric to act as a preservative

Cooking Steps

Step 1
Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend until it turns pale and smooth.

Add a couple of tablespoons of vinegar or a splash of oil or turmeric to act as a preservative


Step 2
Store the ginger garlic paste in an sterilised airtight jar in the fridge. Always use a clean dry spoon to scoop out a little when needed for cooking.
