South Norwood Lake Sing & Stroll

Wednesday 17 June 2026
11:00 to 12:30

Weds morning 17th June 11 am - 12.30.
Join us for a beautiful serene session of mindful Lakeside and park strolling and seasonal singing in partnership with the local recovery college.

All are welcome and a particular welcome is extended to those living with mental health issues or caring for a loved one.

No skill or experience needed. Meet some potential new friends or just take your time to take part when you wish to.   You are welcome to participate at the level that feels comfortable for you. This is an inclusive and safe space for all, as we practise kindness together!

We will nature bathe (Shinrin Yoku) in the unspoilt woodland and lakeside paths, enjoying the trees and water elements, weaving in chants and songlets as we stop at points of interest and notice the season around us.

Approx length 60 mins singing, followed by optional refreshments/chat in our attic rooms nearby.

Meet outside Waterside centre 26 Avenue Road, by the park entrance.

Do contact if you have any questions. No need to book but it would help so we have enough teas, songsheets and snacks, but last minute folkx welcome.

Offered in partnership with the wonderful team at Bethlem and Maudesley. Open to all, queer led and fully intersectional and inclusive!

Thanks to our lovely funders: wcgl Mayor of London, TFL, London marathon. Navy text on white
