Creative Croydon

Check directly with Catherine is this is happening. Catherine plans to meet people at 12.20 by SElhurst station main ticket office exit.

Rain or cancellations by attendees may lead it to not run. At the moment we have a small group and so it looks like it will run. Please help us -  confirm attendance directly to catherine on 07981298541 or email creativecroydon@gmail.com

Join us to amble round the trees and waters of Heavers Meadow and then sip and sing together as we set up our personal picnics in the meadow beyond. Gentle nature and song for our spirits and reconnecting to self. In collaboration with Singforunity.com to celebrate world peace day by building community locally in North Croydon.

Part of our optional activity will be for those local to discuss possbilities around helping revive the Friends of Heavers Meadow group. There will also be a chance to stay on for eco water testing with green volunteer Tracey Hague.

Please bring a picnic and something to sit on like a rug or cushion or light stool/chair. Please take any rubbish away with you to show this hidden gem of a green space some love.

Nearest loos at the station (Selhurst).

If it is raining that morning message Catherine to find an alternative plan which may involve a pub.

A #SLOWCroydon event for #PEACE.

Meet outside Selhurst station. If late come along through the entrance diagonally opposite the station.

FREE though suggested donation £5-10, more if feeling generous, less if needed, to support our work in the parks in North Croydon. Thank you in advance!
