From the distillery in Inverness-shire at 326m Scotland's second highest, comes this great malt which Jim Murray awarded 95 points in his Whisky Bible, this is excellent value for money. The flavours are simple, but flawless, a clean, crisp 15 year old from the Dalwhinnie distillery, also part of Diageo's Classic Malts range.

The distillery has its water source from the Lochan an Doire-Uaine and produces 2,200,000 lires per year.  The majority of the whisky is a component of Buchanan blends

Nose:  

Aramatic; toffee; fruit salad; nectarine; floral apple blossom; honeysuckle; touch of smoke

Palate:

Malty walnuts steeped in manuka honey with vanilla sponge; weaves its way through the cereal with a hint of spice 

Finish:

Long, malty. walnut and almond
