Welcome to the community website of Wotton Parish Council which is a civil parish serving Wotton, Ranmore and Broadmoor in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty(AONB).

Public meetings of the Parish Council are held several times a year and residents are welcome to attend. The meetings are held in Wotton Village Hall, RH5 6QQ, behind the Wotton Hatch Pub, starting at 7pm. 

Meeting Agendas are published on Parish Council noticeboards and on this website on Wednesdays prior to the following Tuesday's meetings.

Noticeboards are located at Wotton Hatch pub car park, in front of the Village Hall; another noticeboard is at the Hollow Lane junction with Guildford Road and another at Broadmoor. A blue door on a building near the old Stephan Langton pub in Friday Street is also used for Parish Council agendas and notices.

Following the resignation of Councillor Steve Hackett at the meeting of Wotton Parish Council on 5 May 2026, applications for the vacancy are invited:

NOTICE OF CASUAL VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the said Parish. If no request is made for an election the Parish Council will proceed to fill the vacancy by co-option at the next meeting of the Parish Council.

If you are interested in becoming a Councillor, please notify the Clerk to the Parish Council.
