Woodham Mortimer and Hazeleigh Parish Council is committed to ensuring its website is accessible to as many people as possible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

How we tested this website

This website was assessed using a basic self‑evaluation carried out by the Parish Clerk, following the GOV.UK sample accessibility checklist. The assessment included checks on navigation, headings, links, images, and document accessibility.

Improvements we are making

We are currently working on:

  • Replacing older innacessible PDFs where known

  • Ensuring all new documents follow an accessible template

  • Improving alternative text for images

  • Reviewing navigation and heading structure across the site

This statement was prepared on 09/05/2026 and is reviewed periodically. It will next be reviewed in May 2027, or sooner if significant changes are made to the website.
