Grounded Swifts

Each summer, there are a number of reports of people finding Swifts on the ground. This can be for a number of reasons with the main ones being that a young Swift has fallen from a nest, or left the nest too early and is unable to fly (click here for more information). In all such cases, professional care should be sought and the Winchcombe area is lucky to have two places where grounded Swifts can be taken;
