Whitehall Park's playground is highly popular with local families.
In a long campaign spanning several years Whitehall Park Supporters Group tried their best to source funding and update the much loved but very old playground.
In 2024 work began on the new playground with funding from the local council. This supported two new playgrounds in the town for Whitehall Park and Bold Venture Park.
