The local Probation Services use the park as part of its community payback scheme.
Community Payback participants help to improve and maintain the parks green spaces with maintenance such as -
- Prepping and painting the parks bridges.
- Painting the metal pond fencing.
- Cleaning and clearing paths.
- Cutting back hedging and green maintenance.
- Helping other community groups in the park with maintenance jobs.
- Reducing the parks invasive species such as the Hymalyan Balsam removal each year.
- Planting trees.
- Litter Picking.
- Installing wood sculptures.
