The community garden club is run twice weekly.
Monday's 10 till 12 followed by lunch (should you wish to partake)
Saturday's 1 till 3pm (drinks and snacks provided)
It is free of charge and open to anyone who wishes to attend. At the club particpants grow fruit and veg in our community garden, take care of our community orchard, undertake maintenance work and planting in the grounds of the park and the Rose Garden.
Produce from the community growing beds and orchard are used for lunch and shared by our community with any surplus harvest being donated to local food banks.
All abilities are catered for and encouraged to join. With wheelchair accessible beds and entrance, shared skills and knowledge it provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your well being.
Whether you have skills to impart, want to learn or just want to get out of the house for a couple of hours there is always something you can get involved with.
