FP0801078 Footbridge improvement
A recent job - a footbridge on the path from Narrow Moss Lane in Ormskirk to Pippin Street in Burscough was in a poor state and very overgrown. The bridge is now safe and accessible, thanks to LCC PROW. It's good to note that the signage has also been improved.
FP0811021 Downholland
Another very overgrown path in Downholland now cleared and accessible once again.

Thanks for LCC PROW for clearing this very overgrown path in readiness for our walk on Wed 26 November. Reported 30 September by Chris, completed 14 November. Great work!
Rufford FP0814008, boardwalk extended and improved
In August 2025, Gwen raised a report regarding an issue on FP0814008. (The path in Rufford which is 70% boardwalk beside the sluice). There was a big dip at the end of one of the sections where the land had fallen away. PROW have now added an additional 9 metres of boardwalk to address this issue. Many thanks to Lancashire PROW for dealing with this issue in a timely manner.
