Reference numbers quoted 5473415 and 5473433.  On further inspection, the path had been cleared in time for Joan and Audrey's Burscough walk  Sat, 04 Jul 2026 17:15:00 GMT https://e-voice.org.uk/westlancashirefootpathgroup/noticeboard/one-entry?entry_id=61150577 https://e-voice.org.uk/westlancashirefootpathgroup/noticeboard/one-entry?entry_id=61150577 There have been a few instances recently of footpaths not being reinstated within 14 day after crops are planted or fields are ploughed, as in the photo above.  By the time Lancashire Public Rights of Way are able to visit landowners to discuss the matter, the crops have been harvested and there is no longer an issue.  PROW advise that in such cases, you can walk the path but you must ensure you stick to the definitive line by using an app or online tracker.
