**IMPORTANT NOTICE - GALA 2026***
At the Community Council meeting it was noted there is no longer a Gala Committee with the previous main team members stepping down.
Following previous interest no one has come forward to take on the organisation of this event.
The Community Council is calling for volunteers to create a new group to take on this task or unfortunately there will be no Gala this year.

Volunteers should confirm before the next Community Council meeting on 10th February to enable a hand over and enough time to kick off the arrangements.
UPDATE
Unfortunately we’re not going to be able to stage the Gala this year, as we don’t have sufficient volunteers to run it efficiently, since our gala team have stepped down after many years of running the gala. We were looking for a new team to run the gala but unfortunately this has not happened. We thank everyone who has regularly helped make the Gala great: our stall holders, local entertainment, volunteers and all of you, who have come along to make a great day for the community.
