A talk by Jon Taylor, conservationist and former climate change programme manager at WWF UK.
A recent Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report concluded that it is vital to keep global warming to no more than 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels, or we risk challenging impacts on ecosystems, human health and well-being.
The talk will explain how the Earth is warming, why you should pay attention to the IPCC report, and what we can do to cut greenhouse gas emissions and stay safely below 1.5°C.
The talk will be followed by questions and discussion.
