Some of the allotments growing thingsThe Allotments are at Trowan on the outskirts St Ives in Cornwall. There are about 50 plots on land leased by St Ives Town Council. The land was previously used for farming and so the plots were created from scratch. Each full plot is 10 metres by 12 metres in size. It costs £60 per year for a full plot and £35 per year for a half-plot.
