A ‘Soup and Sandwich’ lunch at the Pheasant Public house, Gestingthorp - 12.00 midday for 12.30 lunch

Followed by a talk, given in Gestingthorpe Church by historian Ashley Cooper. who will describe the equipment on show in the Church which was used by Capt. Titus Oates, Captain Scott and others on their ill-fated journey to the South Pole. (The church is a short drive from the Pheasant; there is parking alongside the road by the church).
