This recently published book, written by former John Roan pupil Tom Davies, places the schools in the wider context of London and England's educational history, looking at the role they played in that development and architecturally how the schools' changing buildings and locations have formed a part of that. The conclusion examines the new Westcombe Park site, which was completed in 2014, which was nominated for a RIBA awars for design and prepares the John Roan School for a fourth century providing education for the children of the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
