We were delighted to get such a strong response to our call for entries in our “design a logo” competition.
With 67 entries, we had a tough time choosing just one, but we had a great time seeing and considering them all.
After much deliberation, the judges decided that one design in particular captured our message. The image and catch-phrase explains exactly what we should be doing and shows, as was evident with the entries generally, that our children have a much better understanding of how we should be behaving than our politicians do.
That winning design came from Emelia-Rose Wick from year 5/6 at Knebworth Primary School. You'll see the logo in use on our Website.
The judges felt two other designs stood out. These were from Myla Leatham (Year 5/6) and Amelia Wright (Year 3/4).
A small gift in recognition of their achievement will be going to the owners of all three designs
There were so many amazing designs submitted that we hope to be able to use many of them on our website (https://e-voice.org.uk/knebworthenvironmentalgroup/), in our Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/knebworthenvironmentalgroup) and in future Parish News articles or other promotional material.
Thank you again to everyone for the great response.
