"How much is enough?"
Tuesday 06 November 2012
18:00 to 19:30
"How Much is Enough? The Love of Money and the Case for the Good Life" is the title of a recent book by economist Robert Skidelsky and philosopher Edward Skidelsky. We will be discussing its conclusions, with the help of a recorded lecture or two, articles such as http://www.skidelskyr.com/site/article/how-much-is-enough/, reviews such as https://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2012/jun/15/how-much-skidelsky-money-sandel and http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/books/reviews/how-much-is-enough-the-love-of-money-and-the-case-for-a-good-life-by-robert-skidelsky-and-edward-skidelsky-7984886.html - and, we hope, a few participants who will actually have read the book ahead of the discussion.
